untitled

by J. Bojeck

When I close my eyes
I retire into your chest,
Cradled by curves of your heart
Hypnotized by the cadence of your breathing.
And as I slide slowly,
Into the pit of your stomach
Squeezed between your secrets and our love,
Kneeling on the decaying wings of butterflies
That once pushed through the fleshy skin of cocoons for me
Your muscles tighten
And you push me through your pours,
So that now I stand outside you
Staring at your chest
My memories pushing through my eyes
And onto the lips that you will never touch
ever again.
