Let me serve as a vessel
Between music and fervor, Where lustfulness whispers, With passionate kisses! Unleash your desires, To this rhythm afire, As we sync our feelings On a magical evening! If love is the answer, Let’s savor its passion, And dance to it freely, As notes in our melody! |

He sat stiffly at the end of the bar.
His face sagging and covered with scars. He thought back on why he was at this place. That fair young lady covered in satin and lace. He asked the bartender for another drink. Maybe one more shot would help him think. She wanted a strong hero fresh from the war. But, she had no idea just what was in store. She not only got the strong man she had seen. She got his burdens of war, which was like a bad dream. The sleepless nights and shadows always in the corner. She found that this hero was destined to be a loner. One night she was gone, a feather in the wind. So, he headed to the bar to let the drinking begin. |

I have seen the sun set in the frozen valleys of Bosnia.
I have seen it rise in the burning dunes of Iraq. I have held a new born child as it breaths its first breaths of life. I have held a dying soldier as he breathed his last. I have tried to give life and I have taken it. I have felt the seething anger deep inside. I have lost love and cried. Do these actions make me a God or a devil? On my judgment day I will revel. Because then the truth will be known. And maybe just maybe I will finally find a home. |
