Men of Heights

by Ved Parkash Pathak

The world is full of men dull and bright
First ones often do wrong, others right
Serious they are from the beginning
Develop confidence after laboring
They feel capable of achieving
Succeed on problems varying
Courage in not overlooking risks
Instead tighten up for conquering
Fields are won in crisis with risks
Winds always blow on their side
To go forward for good cause
The heights reached by great men
Are not attained by fear or flight
While their companions slept
They toiled through the night.
