3am blackness of a cold fall night
my turn as the corner man
cold feeling inside both room and my soul
 
the fight has been long 
the match has gone
14 rounds
 
the bells chimes for the start 
of the next round

no movement from our corner

It the night my wife died and it was my turn to give her the dose of morphine. I went in and she was dead the 4 year battle was over
