Woman: The Salt of the Earth

Woman: The Salt of the Earth
Put on this earth to please her man;
woman evolved into God's new plan.
Salting the earth with beauty and Grace,
woman nurtures the human race.
Loving God's children from birth to death,
woman fertilizes the Earth with every breath.
Woman's body is made to embrace mankind,
and feed her young without man's dime.
Equipped with the instincts of a mate and mother,
She raises her sons and daughters to look after each other.
Passing down knowledge about life and love,
woman salts the Earth drawing power from above.
To God be the Glory for doing great things,
for making women with invisible wings.

Dedicated to Beatrice Taylor, aka Momma Dear
May She Rest in Peace

This poem was written in honor of my children's 108 year old great grandmother who recently passed on to glory. May she RIP.

Women: The Salt of The Earth is one of my favorite poems. It puts into perspective what women mean to creation and evolution. Without the role of women, Earth would be seasonless.
