The Time Has Come The Walrus said

Come Lord Jesus come...
Unite your race,
Release us from our shame and disgrace,
Show us your face...
Allow the vipers and the snakes,
To fall into the snare
That only you,Lord God
Could have prepared!
\For so great is the race
And fast is its pace,
To see it through to the end
Will take only, Grace...
\For God the Father, will
Neither leave nor forsake us
A Devoted People of Power
Is what Our Lord Jesus
Will make us!

I always enjoy reading Christian and Christian-themed poetry. You did a very nice job. Excellent use of rhyme and this poem also has a good lyrical flow to it. May God bless you, Karen. Keep up the good work. Keep writing and improving. Thanks for sharing.

Thankyou for that Michael. My published book of poetry, Nor by Might Nor by Power but by My Spirit, covers two sides of Our God. Similarly to the two sides of Mans Nature. Good and Bad.

Fun title I kno its oly to attract readers, um I didnt like the poem, I felt it ws too simple, religious poetry often has strong poetic verses and beautiful imagery whivh ypurs lacked if anything it felt pretty hateful

I totally agree, for we are still on the Love and Forgiveness ride, and a time for His Wrath has been set aside. The old testament is full of a Jealous and Wrathful God, His Return, it is written, is of the same wrathful nature, this is to what I refer. My published book of poetry "Nor by Might Nor by Power but by My Spirit" is a mixture of the two sides of Our Awesome God. The title was a statement I often heard my Father say throughout my childhood. Cheers for taking the time to read it.
