My Shepherd

I am at peace though the way is dim
I rest assured in my Shepherd's arms
My help and comfort comes from Him
And He protects me from all harm.

Thoughout this weary world I go
But towards my home above I haste
I want no part in things below
I long to see my Saviour's face.

Help me dear Shepherd, never stray
For You're my life and breath,
I'll follow you in the narrow way
Till I come to you through the arms of death.

I believe here is no place for religion. It is long gone from art, and for the better.

If you noticed, on this website there is a "spiritual" category. That is what this poem is listed under. I have written poems about many other things; however, on this certain day, these are the words that came to my mind. Who are you to judge the subject of the poem. People write poems about all kinds of filth. Why don't you complaint to them.
