Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

Hyde was a natural killer
The movie rated as a thriller,
Dr. Jekyll had become cruel
By night as he and Hyde did duel.

Daytime he was the renowned
Loved by all throughout town,
Nighttime he became Hyde
A marsh reality of his other side.

Good and evil fought just as well
As if a demon had burst from hell,
Hyde was no brother nor a friend
Determined to outwit Doc in the end.

As bodies began to slowly disappear
The Whitecastle Murderer people did fear,
It took awhile to piece it all together
But it all came one night in foggy weather.

The constable strutted out to the house
Of good, evil, cat versus the mouse,
As he and his men banged on the door
Dr. Jekyll made his way out just as before.

At midnight you could see him by the clock
Townspeople stood below, many in shock,
As the bell tolled, the clock read 12:01
He had fallen and all evil was at last done.

Dr. Jekyll turned to Mr. Hyde and then back
The townspeople could see who did the attacks,
Alas, Dr. Jekyll had always been a good friend
And he was well remembered even in the end.
