Attractions

It is nature's law
That every body in the universe
Be they atoms or galaxies
Are trying to draw
Others towards them
As close as they can.

What forces are at work,
You may ask
Newton and Einstein
Had done their best to explain,
But it may be a bit abstract,
For you and me to grasp.

Likewise, a person may be attracted
To another by a powerful force called love
Which can only be detected,
By a loving heart.

There is no equation
That gives even an approximation
Of the forces that thrust
Innocent hearts to fall in love.

So, the onus falls on Cupid,
As the unconscionable culprit
Who shoots innocent hearts
With arrows tipped with stupefying love.
