The Salt of the Earth

As the salt of the earth
we ought to make men thirsty for God.
We ought to cause them to crave the
Living Water of Life.

As the salt of the earth
we ought to season men's lives with a pinch of heaven.
We ought to fill them with a desire for the
Bread of Life.

As the salt of the earth
we ought to quicken the hearts of men.
We ought to invigorate them with
power from on high.

As the salt of the earth
we must be full of flavor
or  we will simply pave the road to hell
for a lost and dying world.

It was good enough for Jesus, figure he wouldn't mind me expounding on what he said.

I think it's very Pink Floydish if you don't mind.
