LEAN ON ME (Poem #195)

You can lean on Me while you are down.
My arms will reach out so wide to surround.

Hold on as long as it shall last
While your eyes on the ground are so cast.

And soon within you a warmth will flow
As you reach up for that heavenly glow

That comes through the Lord you see
As you now can give thanks for being set free.

We all need to lean on someone sometime. God is always there and it is nice to have a friend who can just listen without criticising or someone to just hold you.
