A Cold Winter Night

The wind is blowing on this cold winter night
Nothing to be heard, nothing in sight
Sitting on the sofa with a cup of jo
Watching the embers of the fireplace glow
The warmth of the fire, soothes your body and soul
A welcome embrace when you come in from the cold
Your favorite show is on ,or a book you have been waiting to read
Now a comfy blanket on your lap is all you need
You look at the fire and watch the flames dance around
And you know ,on a cold winter night,,home is where I will be found

I relate to this feeling this poem inspires so much. I hate the cold but find that I long for winter so I can sit on the sofa with a comfy blanket and a cup of tea!
