Why are we.

Have you ever wondered what it's all about,
The way we come the way we go
It's hard to work it out.
We came from the sea someone said
A long long time ago,
But have they got their facts right
And will we ever know.
Or are we some experiment
Toyed by with much merriment,
By some authority on high
Who'd know the reason why.
Is it still occurring now
Are we alien spawn,
Created by a love dance
In crop circles of corn.
I've heard it said when someone dies,
Another new born baby cries.
And then there is religion
Of many a faith and form,
All keep their beliefs most sacred
Of how the world was born.
Looking at the stars at night
I wonder where they be,
All spread out so brightly
In their galaxy.
The sun and moon they shine their light
In harmony with earth,
They always get their timing right
We rely in what they're worth.
There's twins on earth and the earth has a twin
On an opposite parallel,
That's another theory to behold
And they look like us as well.
There are UFO'S, shooting-stars,ghosts and meteors,
All all adding to the mystery
Of this life of mine and yours.
But tomorrow dawns another day
And then we'll all agree,
The moon, the stars, earths sun and sea
Are there for you and me.

Well written poem with good natural input. I thought it was another Haiku from Yo TJ, but it isn't. I loved reading it, Good Job!

No, Haiku?! Actually, this seems like the first non-Haiku i've read from you... and I like the idea of contemplating the life... where it all began... In fact, I have one that I haven't posted yet that explores the same ideas.... I might post it next.... Anyway, I love the use of phrasing in this... a nice light, active rhythm to it which adds to the overall tempo and journey of the piece... searching for the answer to the question that will (more than likely) never be answered. Great job, Tj.

I have the said idea as you, TJ Hatton sharing a different one rather than a Haiku, This is indeed a good poem. By the way I would love see your one too when it's posted. Thanks for sharing ideas.
