Classroom Thoughts

The sun streaks through the window pane
lighting up the classroom's plain,
shining the way for children's learning
and for, a teacher's weekly earnings.
A lonely cloud all fluffy and white
blocks the sun and the learning light.
Just when my class was on a roll,
out goes learning and in comes control!

Oh the joys of once being a teacher. This poem allowed me to vent after a ferral Yr8 maths class.

This piece was well written, with a good rhythm. It made me smile, remembering the classroom days of my own.
