the simplicity of words

words, embedded in my skin
the way my pen glides along yellow paper
the spaces between my curving letters
it's a breath taking experience in my mind
the emotions you are  able to provoke with the simplicity of words-
a heartache
goosebumps on thin, pale arms
tears resting on a rosy cheek
a revelation
love
hatred
empathy
it goes on,
with every adjective created
words, etched on my heavy lids

not sure what it means but it wasn't overdone/over flowery in language, I liked the form, simple but impactful.
