Life on the Road

There is so much to see
Lots to do in a short time

Life is a snap shot in time
A crazy quilt of people & things

Beautiful sunsets & amazing scenery
Flowing waters & still ponds

Big city lights & small lost towns
Endless roads of life gone by

Everyone has a story of their town
Others are silent not to be found

Everyday is new in a different city
I love the road & the next adventure

Nice! I love the metaphors... similes... and the metaphor that the whole poem is... it's a crazy quilt of metaphors and similes, should I say? People call me Code, because of a childhood thing, but, my last name is Devine too... heritage: Scotland/Ireland. Just saying.

Elaborate on the metaphors, although they're nice, you could paint an even clearer picture with descriptive imagery! Thank you for sharing!
