Minds Eye

If ignorance is truly bliss,
then I wish to eradicate my mind.
Surely no sight could ever be missed,
by he whom is deaf dumb and blind.
\Take my sight for I no longer wish to see,
Take my voice so I may no longer speak.
Take the sounds of the world away from my ears,
for the sounds leave me lonely, and weak.
\To touch is to destroy.
To hold is to suffocate.
To care is to become defenceless.
and to love.
is to die.
