Peculiar Love
How can life be grand?
When love turns into sand?
Emotions get torn,
Real tears start to form
Rivers of misery,
The sour taste of entropy!
It gets harder to cope
Agony silences hope,
Rancor takes hold,
Of my broken up soul,
As I ail for what once was,
My peculiar love.

Sometimes, love feels like you've been slapped in the face with a wet mop... you communicate your feelings so well through words. I didn't enjoy the feeling, because, well, no one does, but I enjoyed the writing!
