Trance

En-covered by the silent shade
Persistently slapped and caressed by the evening breeze
I sit still, listening to what avails itself to my ears
Listening to the sound of nature
Listening my self
For in silence great minds are born.
I shut my eyes and listen
To the sound of fresh air as it rushes to my lungs
Never had I known it tasted sweet
To the flow of blood as it meanders to nourish my soul
So loud it is.
For in silence great minds are nourished.
The weavers, peckers and swallows
Seldom shut up, chip this chip that.
But that nightingale knows its trade
Serenade this, love note/tune that.
But silence I seek.
The trees help not,
For they love dancing to the beat of the breeze.
The breeze caressing me, rushes upon my lobes
Sending endless flow of unsilence to my drums.
But I stay still.
For in silence great minds are developed.
Endless battle for silence, I fight.
Numerous struggles to get away, I make.
As I sit still, eyes closed
Then
It all stops.
Silence.
Tranquility engulfs me,
And the whole world
I rise beyond the clouds, closer to Me
Where ev’thing is silent, and silence is ev’thing.
Where beauty and peace are created.
For in silence
I am a great mind.
