Tulips sprouting up
branches on trees bloom with leaves
all is green from rain

The first thing that comes to mind in Spring are tulips! My grandpa used to have a garden of them in his front yard and I loved the sight. Ode to Spring in Haiku form!

Have you ever heard of a haiku? It is suppose to be short. Why are you rating poetry if you do not know what you are rating? A haiku is a specific genre of poetry that is suppose to be three sentences long, the 1st being five sylables, the 2nd seven sylables, and the last 5 as well. Before rating someone on a short poem why not know what your talking about!!! Look it up dear I have followed the guidlines perfectly. I now cannot wait to read and rate yours!
