Jenny moved into the house across town
I guess about seven months ago
It was one ef them small communities
Where everyone you met you know.
She told the children she had a balloon
Which could carry her far away
Their parents told them to avoid her
That her mind had gone astray.
The town lay beneath an old dam
Built ever so many years before
It had held high water once too often
And it just couldn't hold any more.
It had rained the entire week before
But just in time out came the sun
It was the annual whole town picnic
And everyone turned out for the fun.
Suddenly the old dam gave way
A wall of water was headed toward town
People scurried in all directions
Trying to get to higher ground.
 Little Joey, playing 'Huck Finn'
On that once so peaceful stream
Everyone had gotten to safety
When they heard little Joeys scream.
Suddenly dipping from out the clouds
Came a giant colored big air balloon
A ladder was dropped, Joey grabbed on
They all say not a second to soon.
Now Jenny is the local hero
And everyone wants it known
About her beautful big air balloon
And the first day it had flown....
