I Will Be Back

It has been 48 hours since that terriable night.
The days just seem to go slowly,
begin to become as one.
When I walk by her room,
how my heart just wants to plunge.
It's though she should be saying,
do not cry mom.
I have not gone,
with her kind loving arms,
she is reaching out.
It is though she is saying,
I need a hug please.
Oh how did this become?
I feel you near as though,
I can hear you say I am here.
Don't cry mom I will be back.

My daughter had to go away for a short while. This is how I'm feeling on the second day.
