The African Woman
Falling and Rising
The African Woman
The African woman is the pillar of wisdom
She aspires her children to reach to higher heights and do well
She pushes them to dream big
She makes their imagination soar high up like an eagle
And their imagination and hardwork makes them prosper
The African woman is a symbol of strength
The pain she bore in labor for her seven children says it all
She bears the burden of her family, community and nation
Salute to all African women
The African woman has true beauty
Not only her sacculent soft, ebony dark rich skin
That melts the heart of the strongest warrior
But also her inward beauty draws people to her
Her genuine affection for all brings out her beauty
The African woman having been deprived her rights
Has now shown us that there is nothing impossible
Now she has fought these battles and pulled them down
She is now a mother, doctor, politician and an ambassador.
So I salute all the African women out there
