Is There

Is there someone who will listen?
Is there someone who will care?
My life is completely shattered
It is almost to much to bear.
Is there a shoulder I can cry on?
Is there someone to hold me tight?
I pray for someone to comfort me
It is so lonely here at night.
This load of grief is heavy
It has me truely burdened down
It is so hard to give up your mate
And, never again, have him around.
I try to stay away from people
I don't like them to see me cry
How can they understand my feelings
Unless, they've had a mate to die?
There's no one to talk to, but Jesus
He truly is my dearest friend
Though I cry alone again tonight
He will help my broken heart to mend
